It’s not every day that one finds
the Easter Bunny in their olive bread, but it is every Monday that WomensRadio
is able to share each week's fantastic submissions with our audience via the
ever-growing “MusicMonday” feature! This
week is no exception, as we proudly present music from Australia, New Zealand, the
United Kingdom, Finland, France, Canada, and from many different states across
the US … oh, and a brand-new remix EP coming from one of our favorite indie / electro bands, as performed by none other than Dub Reggae superstar, Mad
Professor!
If you're on Twitter, you probably are already hip to the
use of hash tags (#) to identify topics and trends ... and you probably see the
same ones every Monday, “#MusicMonday", "#musicmonday"
and "#MM". These hash tags facilitate worldwide recommendations/promos/plugs/playlists/reviews/concerts/gear
and MUCH more throughout Twitter, and now the entire
web!
Here at WomensRadio, we use these networks to give an added boost to the
world's finest Independent Female (and Male) Musicians submitting to our
studios. Here are a couple of submissions we picked up early Monday

Celebrating
birthdays this week are none other than the late, great American jazz singer-songwriter, Billie Holiday (April 7, 1915 – July 17, 1959), American
jazz singer, composer, pianist, actress and disciple of Billie Holiday, Carmen
McRae (April 8, 1920 – November 10, 1994), and

**OK, if you’ve ever been to a rock n roll concert, or have even
listened to a rock song, here's the deal -- the unbelievable antics
of one of our all-time favorite female (indie / punk) rockers, Kimberly Freeman
of Austin, TX band One-Eyed Doll, and her new “Rockumentary” are unbelievable! Check out the trailer here:
